About
Our unique state-of-the-art MBA program focuses on developing the main pillar skills required by the leading innovative and transformative businesses and institutions:
- Strategic foresight and strategic thinking: The unprecedented fast-paced changes impacting the corporate world have forced organizations to rethink almost every aspect of their business. Companies need to learn how to operate in an increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environment. Organizations’ ability to navigate these conditions is becoming a critical source of competitive advantage. Students will deal with how to shape the company’s long-term strategy and detect market shifts and acquire the capabilities to in unlocking value from these disruptive forces.
- Financial acumen: A solid understanding of the numbers involved in any business process leads to faster and more effective decision-making. Students have to develop financial acumen because business decisions (strategic, tactical, and operational) have financial consequences. Finance is the language of business, and it enables people to communicate how to invest and make money for their businesses to sustain their viability and performance: Economic, social, and Environmental.
- Leadership capabilities: Leadership and the pivotal role in the development of nations, organizations, and people. Furthermore, the strategic level focus of the program justifies the need to develop students’ leadership skills as business strategy and leadership go hand in hand. The concepts and methods of both areas are holistically interdependent to the extent that their success depends on one another almost entirely. Implementing and executing a strategy requires sound leadership skills. Effective leaders communicate and lead toward a collective aim and implement positive change.
To enhance our offerings, our students can select elective courses from the most current topics in strategy and Finance e.g., Digital Transformation Management, Marketing Intelligence and Analytics, Fintech and Blockchains, Entrepreneurial Finance, and Corporate Governance, Social Responsibility, and Ethics. Furthermore, the leadership course is different from a standards course, it is designed as a practical and action-oriented program allowing the student to effectively improve their leadership skills. The leadership course encompasses a mandatory international trip of 1 week.
The MBA program is delivered in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, and all CBE programs are accredited by AACSB International. While we express our pride to be the first business school in the UAE with full accreditation of AACSB at the graduate level, we are also continuously striving to improve our curriculum and delivery system. We are also keen to stay in touch with our many graduates of the program. We are extremely proud of our graduates and consider them to be the best in the nation. We dedicate time to listen to their input and solicit their assistance in strengthening our program through their contribution as guest speakers and assessors of students’ projects, participating in MBA events, and serving as members of our graduate alumni association.
